Accounts
How do I create an account?
Choose “Create account”, pick a username, enter your email and a password. We email you a 6-digit code to confirm your address. It takes about a minute.
I didn't get the confirmation code.
Check your spam or promotions folder. On the confirmation screen, choose “Send a new code”. Codes work for 15 minutes.
How do I reset my password?
Choose “Forgot password?” on the log-in page and enter your email. We send a link that works for one hour.
Can I delete my account?
Yes. Go to Settings in your account and choose “Delete my account”. Your reviews, photos and points are removed.
Reviews
How do I write a review?
Find the product or service, open it and choose “Write a review”. Pick a score from 1 to 5, describe your experience in at least 30 characters, and add pros, cons and photos if you like.
Why isn't my review showing yet?
Reviews with links, all-capital text or other spam patterns are checked by our team first. This usually takes less than a day.
Can I edit or delete my review?
Yes. Open the review from “My reviews” in your account, or choose “Edit” under it on the listing page.
What makes a review helpful?
Say how long you used it, what you used it for, and specific details: battery hours, service delays, build quality. Photos of the real thing help a lot.
How do I report a review?
Choose “Report” under the review and pick a reason. Our team checks every report.
The thing I want to review isn't listed.
Use “Suggest a listing”. Our team checks it, usually within a day or two, and you earn points when it goes live.
Points and rewards
How do points work?
You earn 10 points for each published review, 5 more if it has photos, 2 each time someone finds it helpful, 15 when your suggested listing goes live and 25 when a friend joins with your link.
How is the Top Reviewer of the Month chosen?
The member with the most points earned in a calendar month wins. We confirm the winner by email in the first week of the next month. Fake or copied reviews are removed and their points taken back.
What are levels and badges?
Levels go up with your total points: Newcomer, Contributor, Trusted reviewer, Expert and Legend. Badges mark milestones like your 10th review or 25 helpful votes. Both show on your public profile.
Businesses
How do I claim my business?
Go to “For business”, find your listing and choose “Claim this listing”. We verify claims within 2 working days.
Can a business remove bad reviews?
No. Businesses can reply publicly and report reviews that break our guidelines, but they can't edit, hide or delete reviews.
How do I add the rating widget to my website?
After your claim is approved, open the business dashboard and copy the widget code into your website.
